What To Expect

Small Groups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A Small Group Leader determines how often their group meets and what the focus of the group is. Small Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect.

Every Small Group is unique. Some discuss the weekend message or content from a devotional or other study. Some serve together in the community and some play board games or take walks. Two things you’ll find in every Small Group, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Absolutely! It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a Small Group and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up. Keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a perfect Small Group because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that this group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try.

This might be a sign that God is calling you to start a group! If God’s placed a certain passion or calling within you, He might want you to take a step of faith and launch a Small Group around it. You won’t have to do this alone, though. Our Small Groups team is here to support you every step of the way.

First, fill out our Volunteer Application. After that, our Small Groups team will reach out to help you prepare to lead your group. Then, you can invite people to your group and start meeting!
